Lower Twin Lakes specializes in Bow / Archery and Rifle hunts with adult Bull Moose tags available for WMU 18A. This is a 7-day housekeeping hunt and hunters stay in clean and comfortable lakeside cottages. From the camp there is also easy access to WMU 18B and WMU 19 so hunters with their own tags are welcome to rent a cabin. Guided hunts can also be arranged. Nakina is the top destination in Canada for Moose hunting and non-resident adult Moose tags are limited and will go fast.
Twin Lakes Outfitters & Wilderness Camps has the top Fly-in Moose Hunting in Canada. They are located north of Nakina Ontario. Due to the extremely high population of Moose in their area, Twin Lakes Outfitters receives more adult Moose tags then other outfitters in Canada. You can fly-in to their 21 outpost cabins and multiple army-style spike camps. All locations offer excellent Moose hunting. Hunts take place in WMU 1d, WMU 17 and WMU 18b. Residents with their own tags are welcome to rent an outpost camp. Moose north of Nakina can reach 1800 pounds but Moose in the 1000 to 1200 pound range are common.
Leuenberger's Kag Lake Lodge & Fly-in Outposts are located north of Nakina, Ontario and offer a fly-in lodge on Kagianagami Lake as well as 12 fly-in outpost camps on 12 different lakes. Their Moose hunts take place at the fly-in outpost camps in WMU #17, WMU #18A or WMU #18b. Nakina is famous for its Moose hunting because of the extreme population. Bull Moose average 1000 pounds but bigger ones up to 1300 pounds get harvested. Hunters are only flown out to outpost camps where many Moose have been scouted to ensure a very high success rate.
